Male', Maldives - The Drug Court held its Annual Day function at the Moomina Haleem Hall of Roashanee Building on 29 September 2022. The Chief Guest of the event was Deputy Minister of Health, Samaau Shareef. The event was attended by Chief Judge Abdul Sattar Abdul Hameed and the current and previous judges of the court.

During the event, awards were given to the most outstanding exemplary and most punctual staffs of 2019 and 2021. Additionally, staffs who achieved more than 70 percent in their appraisal were also recognized for their hard work and dedication.

Ismail Shareef was recognized as the most outstanding exemplary staff of 2019, while Mohamed Saleem was awarded the same title for 2021. Both staff members were commended for their exceptional performance and contribution to the Drug Court's operations.

Speaking at the event, The Deputy Minister expressed his appreciation for the Drug Court's efforts in providing rehabilitation and support for those struggling with drug addiction. He also emphasized the importance of continuing to work towards achieving a drug-free society.
