Male', Maldives - A training program for Drug Court judges and staff was organized on September 3, 2022. The program focused on "Understanding of addiction and recovery for better service delivery," and was held at the Training hall of the Department of Judicial Administration.

The training session was facilitated by Ahmed Adheeb, one of the prominent figures of Journey, an NGO that aims to educate and empower individuals on Drugs, HIV & deviant behaviors. Adheeb shared his extensive knowledge on addiction and recovery, providing the participants with valuable insights on the subject matter.

The program was well-attended, with a significant number of Drug Court judges and staff present at the training session. They were able to enhance their understanding of addiction and recovery, which is expected to have a positive impact on their service delivery to the public.
